3. Historical Gettysburg Town Tour
You will hear the story of Gettysburg's founding and
development, as well as learn about experience of its residents
during America's Civil War.
The main emphasis of the tour is
on "The Civilian Experience," during and after "The Battle of
Gettysburg," which occurred on July 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, 1863.
Hear the fascinating story about the establishment of
America's very first National Soldier's Cemetery and President
Abraham Lincoln's "Gettysburg Address."
Tours offered all year 'round.
In cool weather, you will keep
warm by stopping into one of several coffee shops along the tour
route every few minutes, as necessary, and as requested by you. You
will warm up over a hot cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa, while the
unique stories of Gettysburg's citizens during and after the battle
continue!
