Civil War farm lay in the middle of the South Cavalry
Battlefield. Thousands of horses and soldiers galloped across
the land and then retired to camp on this farm after Pickett's
Charge. The last shot of the battle may have been fired on this
farm.
On the Battlefield
The Inn shares an original stone farm lane with
Gettysburg National Military Park that marks the position of the
Sixth Pennsylvania Cavalry troops during the afternoon fighting of
July 3rd.
