This Civil War farm lay in the middle of the
South Cavalry
Battlefield. Thousands of horses and
soldiers galloped across the land and then retired to camp on
this farm after Pickett's Charge. The last shot of the battle
may have been fired on this farm.

The Inn's
stone farm lane borders the southern boundry of the Gettysburg National
Military Park. The farm witnessed fighting by the Sixth
Pennsylvania Cavalry troops on July 3rd.
