Licensed Town Historian Susan Swope has arranged a special tour for guests of Battlefield Bed and Breakfast Inn over Labor Day Weekend. The tour will leave from the center of Gettysburg on Lincoln Square. Meet by the Lincoln statue. This is a walking tour of downtown Gettysburg. Susan is an enthusiast and knowledgeable guide who grew up in Gettysburg. Some of her ancestors were the first settlers in the area. Susan needs to know in advance if there is interest in the tour so advanced reservations are required. The tours are 90 minutes of easy walking.
