Gettysburg Holiday House Tour

Inns of the Gettysburg Area and the Adams County Winery present the Annual Gettysburg Area Holiday House Tour & Tasting. This year you will visit 12 properties including 6 area inns and 3 private homes and several area businesses decorated in their holiday style. The tour takes you through the western part of Adams County making stops in the small historic towns of McKnightstown, Cashtown, Orrtanna, and Fairfield.
As part of this special tour, each property will serve one or more of its favorite recipes for you to sample.
Tickets are free for inn guests. Outside tour tickets are $10 in advance or $12 on the day of the tour.
January 7 Murder Mystery Evening
You will be one of the players!Will you solve the mystery?
$50 per person in addition to room rate. You play a part. Heavy h’ordeuvres. Lots of fun! Costumes encouraged! Add a second night for $110.
January 21 Paranormal Investigation GASP(Ghost and Spirit Paranormal) is a paranormal investigating group founded by Scott Wise and Don Ream. Join them as they investigate the historic farmhouse and property. $25 plus accommodations.
January 28 Innkeepers Civil War Ball Transport yourself to the 19th Century for this fabulous evening of dining and period dancing. If you have never danced before, you will learn the steps at the 10 AM lessons. Then don your period attire and meet at the Grand Ballroom at 6 PM. After dinner, you will line up for the Grand March and the dance will begin at 8 PM. Briant and Karen Bohleke will be the dance masters. They will guide dancers through each period dance. Smash the Windows will provide the music Tickets $70 plus room rates.
February 25 Dinner with President Lincoln You will feel like you met Abraham Lincoln himself when you dine with Lincoln impersonator James Getty at the Dobbin House Tavern. Before your dinner, you will have an opportunity to walk in Lincoln's footsteps in Gettysburg during a walking tour that will follow Lincoln from the Gettysburg Train Station to the delivery of the Gettysburg Address at the Soldier's National Cemetery. $55 per guest plus accommodations.
March 17 The Irish In Gettysburg Join Licensed Battlefield Guide Rich Kohr as he leads you through the Battlefield where the Irish Brigade fought in 1863. Then join Irish singer Rick Garland for lunch at the Dobbin House for Irish food and song. $55 per guest in addition to room rates
March 29, 30, 31, April 1 Gettysburg Advanced Seminar Thursday night orientation Three days on the Battlefield with Licensed Battlefield Guides This seminar is designed for participants who are interested in studying the Battle of Gettysburg in depth. 20 participants maximum $130 per person plus accommodations
