entrance fee for the Gettysburg National Military Park. You will be
able to explore the 30 miles of roads and 6000 acres of parkland at
your leisure.
Museums
Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor
Center
The new National
Park Visitor Center museum houses an enormous collection of
artifacts from the Battle of Gettysburg displayed in a very
informative way. There is an entrance fee to the museum. You can buy
a one day pass, or a pass for two or several days. Plan on spending
several hours here. You will want to see the film, the Cyclorama,
and all the museum exhibits. This is also where you can arrange for
a personal tour of the Battlefield with a Licensed Battlefield
Guide. More

To Hire A Personal Guide Who Goes In Your Car
On the Gettysburg Foundation website, first click on "Licensed Battlefield Guided Car Tour" on the left side. Then select your date on the calendar on the right. You will be given options for available tours. Buy Tickets and Hire Guides

The Shriver House Museum
This historic home is downtown Gettysburg is focused on
interpreting the civilian experience. The home is furnished as
if the Shriver family still lived there. The home was occupied by
the Confederates during the battle. You can even see the holes where
the sharpshooters knocked out bricks to shoot onto the street
below. This museum is very well done and is well worth

This museum features a wax museum with
life-size dioramas of the Civil War. More

Adams County Winery
This winery features such local wines as Rebel Red, Three Ships to the Wind, Stray Cat Strut, and Tears of Gettysburg. During the summer, the winery is a favorite picnic and concert spot. Stop in for a tasting at the winery or at their tasting room in the center of Historic Gettysburg. Check their calendar of events for wine appreciation and wine-making classes with the entertaining vintner John Kramb. More

Gettysburg Battlefield Tours is a company that
offers several entertaining museums as well as Battlefield bus
tours. Our inn is starting to work with the Tour Company to provide unique tours for our guests. Ask about tours specifically designed for B&B guests. This company also offers package plans including tickets to their
museums and tours. This is not the Gettysburg National Military
Park. These packages are designed for attractions owned by
Gettysburg Battlefield Tours including bus tours, the Hall of
Presidents, the Soldiers National Museum, the Jennie Wade House
Museum, the Lincoln Train Museum, and Ghostly Images. Museums are
focused on entertainment and are perfect for the casual traveler. The Bus Tours are the standard bus tours
offered at the National Park Visitor Center. It is not necessary to
buy tickets in advance, although it might be convenient if these
