Dinner with General Grant

We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with the Historic Fairfield Inn to offer guests of Battlefield Bed and Breakfast Inn the opportunity to participate in this very special event. With a booking the night of February 18th, 2017 you will also receive tickets to the dinner with General Grant. The base price is based on two guests staying overnight at Battlefield Bed and Breakfast Inn and at two guests at the Dinner.

A three course meal will be prepared by Chef Johnathon. General Grant will perform during dessert. Beer, wine from Adams County Winery, and cocktails will be available.


  • Appetizer: Cucumber Ribbon Salad- Ribbons of fresh Cucumber with Red Onions, Yellow Peppers and Shaved Carrots dressed with a Sherry Vinaigrette and Finished with Crème Fraiche.
  • Entrée: Flank Steak- Marinated Flank Steak, Grilled to your liking, topped with a Cincinnati Chili Compound Butter and served with Roasted Heirloom Potatoes, Button Mushrooms and Carrots.
  • Dessert: Dessert Duet-  Lemon Rice Pudding ( Rumored to be Grant's Favorite Dessert); Spiced Bourbon Chocolate Cake

Guests are invited to take a free tour of the Inn.  Brochures are available with a brief history of each room.
