2026 Gettysburg Brass Band Festival
The Gettysburg Brass Band Festival returns June 10, 12, 13, and 14, 2026, offering a dynamic, multi-day celebration of live brass music throughout Gettysburg. This free, family-friendly event features performances by talented bands from across the region, bringing vibrant music to a variety of historic and community venues.
The festival kicks off on June 10 at 5:30 p.m. with Community Band Night, featuring the Adams County Community Band, Ringgold Band, and Generations Big Band. On June 12 (6–9 p.m.), Bands in the Borough fills downtown Gettysburg with performances at locations including the Dobbin House patio, the Gettysburg Heritage Center, and Baltimore Street, along with appearances by groups such as the All Star Brass & Percussion, Lancers Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps, The Fathoms 3 Jazz Band, and the Antebellum Marine Band.
On June 13 and 14, brass bands from Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia will perform on the main stage at United Lutheran Seminary. A highlight of the weekend is the moving Taps Tribute at sundown on June 13, when buglers perform from the cupola of Schmucker Hall.
