Built in 1820, our Historic Barn combines timeless character with thoughtful modern touches, creating a wedding experience that feels warm, romantic, and entirely your own. From the moment guests arrive, the atmosphere feels relaxed, effortless and inviting, while still delivering the atmosphere, service, and polish expected from an award-winning Gettysburg wedding venue.

Historic Barn Venue Highlights:

• A beautifully restored historic barn with soaring ceilings, warm wood interiors, and room for up to 140 guests
• An airy indoor-outdoor atmosphere created by the barn’s original slatted walls and breezy ceiling fans
• Romantic lighting, chandeliers, and soft white string lights that require minimal additional décor
• Wooden Farmhouse Sweetheart Table or larger U-shaped head table to include wedding parties
• 8-top and/or 10-top round guest tables with white or ivory tablecloths and white fan-back chairs or wood slat-back chairs, arranged to your preferences by B&B staff
• Dedicated DJ loft wit sound and power connected directly to the dance floor so your guests can dance between the speakers while those at tables can converse without screaming
• Dramatic grand entrance doors with optional chiffon draping
• Dressing room with overnight accommodations in The Tack Room, which has a secret “Bat Cave” connecting the room to the barn venue
• Stone Circle with gas fire pits next to the barn, popular during receptions for event guests and after events for overnight guests
• Metal Patio Bar, which is usually placed on the barn bank to serve both the reception and cocktail hour

What sets our venue apart is the ability to turn your wedding day into an entire weekend experience for your guests.

Couples may choose from one-day or two-day wedding packages, allowing extra time for decorating, rehearsal gatherings, relaxed mornings, and meaningful time with loved ones onsite.

Our most popular room, The Tack Room, is included in all Historic Barn wedding packages.

Additional overnight accommodations are available in our ten-room Farmhouse and Swan Cottage, making it easy to host your inner circle of family and friends together on property rather than sending guests to separate hotels.

For couples wanting a more exclusive wedding weekend atmosphere, the entire inn is available for a full buy-out, allowing festivities to spread throughout the parlor and sitting rooms.

2026 Pricing Chart

Our indoor Solarium venue is an airy, light-filled room with a cathedral ceiling that can accommodate weddings and events up to 79 guests.

All Season Event Venue – Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter Weddings

This is an all-season venue that will delight your guests no matter the weather.

The Solarium has a spacious wrap-around deck, so your event can be both inside and outside in good weather. The deck has a gas fireplace to keep your guests warm on chilly days.

The Solarium is part of the Farmhouse building, which includes ten bed and breakfast guest rooms, keeping you & your guests warm and cozy for winter weddings.

The Victorians’ love of exotic plants led to the fashion of attaching a spacious sun-room onto the house to protect the tropical plants in the winter. Following that tradition, you may find the Solarium housing palms, ferns, and other tropical plants during the cold season. We bring nature indoors for your enjoyment.

Solarium Wedding Package

Talk to our Event Coordinator about the variety of ways that you can incorporate our Solarium into your wedding.

Here are some ideas that we offer for the Solarium.

• Use of the Solarium Venue, Solarium Deck, Wedding Garden Pergola and our grounds for your ceremony and reception
• Access for set-up the day before your event
• Tables and chairs for the ceremony & reception
• White or ivory tablecloths for guest tables
• Anna’s Garden guest room and one additional guest room will be available from 3 PM the day before the wedding until 11 am the morning after the wedding. The two guest rooms may be used for preparation and The wedding party may also stay overnight in these guest rooms, accommodating up to four guests per room. If guests stay overnight, breakfast is included.
• The inn will be responsible for the set-up and take down of any tables, tablecloths, and chairs that the inn The wedding party will be responsible for all additional decorating.

Consider a Solarium Wedding Package that includes the use of our venue for 2 1/2 days to enjoy decorating with your personal touches and style, to hold your wedding and reception, and to spend time with your friends and family, making a memory of a lifetime.

Booking Rooms For Guests

Anna’s Garden and Houghtelin’s Hideaway are usually in the Solarium package for two nights to give you and your attendants space to get ready and relax.

If your guests will require overnight accommodations, you may book both the Swan Cottage and/or the ten-room Farmhouse for your guests. Booking additional guest rooms is not required.

Most guests prefer a two-night stay, which we recommend since check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is 11 am. Checking in the day before will give you full access to your guest rooms throughout your preparation and event. If you decide to only stay one-night, there is a single-night surcharge.

If you do not want to pay for all of the rooms for your guests, we will be happy to hold the guest rooms in a block, so that your friends and family can book their own rooms directly.

The wedding party must rent all the guest rooms in the Farmhouse if they would like to use the parlor or dining room for wedding functions.

Welcome Parties and Good-Bye Brunches

Additions to the basic wedding and reception package are available for an additional cost.

Rates for additional activities are dependent on the number of guests, complexity of set-up, and duration of the activity. Please ask for a quote if you are interested in adding these activities to your event.
